Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Application Programmer to provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship, and guidance for all requested work.
This position will focus on the development, administration, and configuration of a custom-built .NET development project.
The ideal candidate will also provide oversight and guidance for replacement software, ensure performance improvements, and participate in team meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, and guidance to personnel.
Develop, administer, and configure a custom-built .NET development project.
Oversee and guide the customer-agency's replacement software, ensuring performance improvements.
Perform code reviews and testing on new code.
Participate in necessary team meetings and design sessions according to Scrum ceremonies.
Cooperate with Technical Architect to ensure compliance with State application standards.
Required Qualifications
Five (5) plus years of expertise and / or relevant experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, and MSSQL.
Five (5) plus years of enterprise-level software development experience.
Prior experience or familiarity with Oracle APEX and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Experience leading a team of developers under the Microsoft development stack.
Previous experience working on accounting-based projects.
Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue, React, NodeJS, Angular, and Typescript.
Experience designing and developing distributed systems (Microservices / SOA).
Experience developing reports with SSRS or similar tools.
Experience with DevOps practices, including CI / CD pipelines and task automation.
Experience using Git Version Control System, including branching strategies for complex systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to design, code, compile, test, debug, and document new and existing web applications.
Experience monitoring, reviewing, and auditing performance of replacement software to make improvements.
Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, and documentation to staff.
Participate in team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
Perform all other tasks, special projects, and analyses as directed.
