Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst to join our team and support the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the identification, deployment, and integration of security controls into the MMIS system, ensuring that these controls become an integral part of its operations.
Additional responsibilities include participating in the selection of appropriate DevSecOps tools, assisting with annual security audits, and reporting and triaging security vulnerabilities to ensure timely remediation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing a robust MMIS security posture as the system migrates to the AWS cloud datacenter.
- Work with security teams to identify and remediate infrastructure and application code vulnerabilities and facilitate continuous monitoring, remediation, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Integrate Static Application Security, Dynamic Application Security, and Software Composition Analysis Tools (SAST, DAST & SCA) into the MMIS Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), emphasizing early detection, remediation, automation, and process integration.
- Implement security standards and secure frameworks.
- Develop and update developer documentation and educational materials for application security.
- Present and explain threat modeling, risk detection, and mitigation strategies to business and IT stakeholders, including leadership.
- Define technical security software environment requirements for the MMIS.
