Job Summary :
The Senior SSRS Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing reports and data extraction processes using SSRS, DataStage, and SQL Server. This role involves creating and maintaining reporting solutions, writing complex queries, and working with Unix shell scripting for scheduling tasks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in business intelligence tools, strong SQL skills, and experience in the investment banking domain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and optimize reports using SSRS and DataStage, including creating, modifying, and maintaining data extraction processes.
- Utilize Business Objects or Power BI to deliver reporting solutions.
- Create and maintain Unix shell scripts and batch scripts for automating processes and scheduling tasks.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, DDL, and DML to extract data from Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Contribute to the CI / CD process, ensuring efficient and streamlined development workflows.
- Create and execute test cases for unit testing, covering various business scenarios and ensuring robust solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions tailored to business needs.
- Work within an Agile methodology to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
