Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and supporting SSRS reports, creating SQL queries and stored procedures, and working with ETL processes in SQL Server environments.
The role will involve collaboration with business stakeholders, optimizing SQL queries, and building scalable solutions to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and support SSRS reports in a SQL Server environment.
- Write and debug complex SQL / T-SQL code, including SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for data migration and ETL processes.
- Develop stored procedures, packages, functions, and views for critical business reporting.
- Implement data migration scripts and automation procedures.
- Optimize stored procedures and views to improve report generation and query performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and develop appropriate reports.
- Build and maintain SQL procedures and ETL processes.
- Work with Python for front-end portal development.
- Analyze and optimize existing SQL queries for better performance.
- Build scalable and high-performance solutions to meet business requirements.
- Perform required enhancements, bug fixes, and improvements.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with other developers and DBA teams to maintain and enhance query performance.
- Work with both on-shore and off-shore teams to deliver solutions.
- Document technical functions and designs using Visio for the BI Handbook.
- Utilize ServiceNow and Jira for project tracking and issue resolution.
