Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
• Manage the seating chart and ensure timely seating of guests while minimizing wait times.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and tracking guest flow effectively.

Skills

• Strong phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally.
• Excellent guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
• Familiarity with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Previous experience in guest services or food service is a plus.
• Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• A passion for hospitality and helping others, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for all guests.
