We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and clean for guests.
- Clean carpets using appropriate methods and equipment to maintain their appearance.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in commercial cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning areas on a scheduled basis.
- Support housekeeping management in training new staff members on cleaning procedures and standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards is advantageous but not mandatory.
