About This Role
The Manager, Workforce Pathways serves as a key leader in implementing JAG's Department of Labor Workforce Pathways for Youth grant program. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations, this position drives program success through strategic oversight of affiliate subrecipients while ensuring compliance with federal regulations. This role bridges national partnerships with local implementation, capturing and sharing best practices to strengthen JAG's broader programming initiatives.

The hiring range for this role is $68,000 to $80,000 annually (plus an annual bonus), in alignment with JAG’s compensation philosophy. The pay range listed is based on national compensation benchmark data and may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, variations in cost of labor, and in some cases, geographic location. The exact job offer will be determined based on several factors such as the candidate’s individual skills, qualifications and experience relative to the requirements of the role and market demands.

What You’ll Do
Grant Management & Compliance
- Serve as the primary contact for USDOL regarding the Workforce Pathways for Youth Grant
- Oversee program compliance activities to ensure alignment with USDOL and grant regulations
- Establish and maintain quality control systems to ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness
- Manage federal grant modifications and budget realignments in partnership with Sr. Director, Administration
- Coordinate with finance team on budget monitoring and expenditure tracking, while understanding federal cost principles
- Design and implement robust program infrastructure including policies, procedures, and documentation frameworks
- Facilitate regular program coordination meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Work with the Development Team as it relates to future funding opportunities
- Collaborate with internal colleagues on project management, data collection, and timelines
- Conduct research; compile and analyze results; and prepare reports and recommendations
- Provide strategic guidance and support to affiliate subrecipients through monitoring, reporting review, and technical assistance
- Foster and manage national partnerships to enhance program outcomes
- Synthesize program learnings and best practices to inform JAG's operational strategy

Requirements
Who you are:
- You are a mission-driven leader who combines federal grant expertise with a passion for youth development
- You hold a bachelor's degree in public administration, social services, or related field
- You have demonstrated success managing federal grants, with 5 years of experience particularly in DOL or workforce development
- You bring deep commitment to youth advocacy, believing fundamentally in creating equitable pathways to success for all young people
- You excel in program management with a strong track record in grant compliance and reporting
- You understand the youth workforce development landscape and can navigate WIOA regulations effectively
- You bring analytical prowess, translating complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives
- You thrive in a remote environment while maintaining availability for travel to JAG National events and team training
- You are an expert relationship builder, skilled at managing diverse stakeholders from federal partners to local implementers
