About this Role :
As a Project-Based Learning Designer and Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to empower young people. You'll design and implement innovative, hybrid project-based learning curriculum tailored to local needs. By leveraging our LMS platform, Headrush Learning, you'll create engaging projects that align with our unique JAG Advantage model. This model merges trauma-informed care, education, employability skills, and real-world experiences to help students not only overcome adversity but also thrive. You'll collaborate closely with local employers and youth participants to develop projects that intersect education, youth development, and workforce development. Your role will report to the Senior Director of Learning Design and Innovation.
What You’ll Do : Design & Development
- Design and develop innovative, project-based learning curriculum aligned with future of work competencies.
- Create engaging learning experiences that leverage our learner-centered platform, Headrush Learning.
- Develop and maintain a library of high-quality project-based learning resources.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify the needs of local employers and youth participants.
- Design and develop project-based learning curriculum aligned with Workforce Pathways for Youth grant objectives, specifically for delivery on the Headrush platform.
- Ensure curriculum integrates career exploration, soft skills development, social-emotional learning (SEL) competencies, and local industry needs.
- Develop project-based learning activities that are engaging, interactive, and leverage the affordances of the Headrush platform.

The hiring range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000 annually (plus an annual bonus), in alignment with JAG’s compensation philosophy. The pay range listed is based on national compensation benchmark data and may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, variations in cost of labor, and in some cases, geographic location. The exact job offer will be determined based on several factors such as the candidate’s individual skills, qualifications and experience relative to the requirements of the role and market demands.
