Job Description
To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Provide instruction and support in the curriculum areas for which employed; make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies; implement the goals and objectives of the district, school and/or program for which employed; maintain contact and communication with guardians/caregivers of scholars, working with them in the development of their scholar; design, deliver, and assess curriculum according to district guidelines; provide in-person learning throughout the program.
- Provide a variety of music techniques and experiences for the students.
- Work with and provide students with social, emotional and behavioral supports.
- Summer is a great opportunity to take students outside and develop healthy habits.
Camp Dates - 20 days
- June 23-26 (Mon-Thu)
- July 7-10 (Mon-Thu)
- July 14-17 (Mon-Thu)
- July 21-24 (Mon-Thu)
- July 28-31 (Mon-Thu)
Must commit to the full program in order to be considered for summer employment.
Sites & Hours
- Sites will be BG, WVR and ZW. Your site placement will be determined at a later date.
- Program hours are: 8:15 am-2:45 pm or 9:15 am-3:45 pm depending on site and bussing.
- Music instructor hours are: 7:45 am-3:15 pm or 8:45 am-4:15 pm
- *Times could change based on final bus routes and other summer program needs.
Required Meetings
- All summer staff meeting/camp set-up - Wed, June 18, 2025 from 9 am-6 pm.
Timeline: Staffing decisions will be made no later than February, 2025.
