**$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successfully completion of first 90 days)** 

Position:   Community Living Supervisor 1 

Location:  Bloomfield, CT ; Manchester, CT

Pay Rate: $26.90 Per Hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Flexible to meet program needs 

 

Summary: 

• The Community Living Supervisor 1 supervises all aspects of a specific program(s) including orientation and training.  The Community Living Supervisor 2 develops, establishes and maintains strong relationships with employers, community partners, funders and referral sources. Responsible for providing direct counseling and support to members and their families as well as providing referrals to community resources as needed. Additional duties entail coordinating schedules and supervision of direct care staff to ensure adequate support for members.  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED/Hi-Set and 5 years of supervisory experience required; or an Associate's degree with 2-3 years of supervisory experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Requirements: 

• Must have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses. 
• Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple activities, tasks to help individuals achieve their goals
• Must have previous supervisory experience and the ability to train all incoming and current employees.
• Must have experience with DDS regulations and mandated DDS trainings.
• Must possess leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills. 
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability. 
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Outlook, Word, Excel, and other reporting databases. 
• Must have knowledge of Outlook, Relias, Credible, EVV data for billing for In-Home Support and IP/Six-month reviews. 
• Must be willing to drive individuals in own vehicle.
• Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle. 
• Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet.
