The Department of Pathology is seeking an Academic Clinical Program Management Associate (Clerkship & Selective Program) to serve as coordinator of the clerkship and selective medical student training programs in Pathology. These programs require close partnership with Pathology faculty, administrative staff, and Carver College of Medicine staff. Specific tasks include but are not limited to: coordination of student schedules; scheduling and proctoring of all required exams; collection/distribution/statistical reports of student grades to: students, appropriate faculty, and necessary committees; orientation/hospital–specific training for students; makes arrangements/verifies records for visiting students; and point of contact for students and clinical faculty with Carver College of Medicine. Works collaboratively with other staff in Pathology Administration, provides cross coverage for other Instructional Services staff as directed by supervisor. This position is 100% time and is on-site.

- Educational/Instructional program management

Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically one year of experience in program/project management.
- Demonstrated ability to independently meet deadlines for work tasks and assigned responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments accurately and thoroughly in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in relevant computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
- 6 months to one year experience coordinating or managing a medical education program.
- Knowledge of LCME requirements and standards.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Experience working in an academic medical center is desired.
