Piper Federal is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join a DoD IT consulting company. This position is based in the Wright Patterson Air Force Base with 1-2 days onsite week.

Essential Duties of the Cybersecurity Engineer :
- Provide systems engineering expertise in the design, integration, operation, and maintenance of cybersecurity infrastructure and capabilities.
- Utilize defense-in-depth strategies and methods to harden systems and networks (e.g., blocking / filtering, IDS / IPS, A / V, logical separation of management traffic, content detonation and automated analysis, and DISA SRG / STIG compliance).
- Maintain the establishment of infrastructure services supporting cybersecurity environments such as directory services in support of authentication, networking monitoring services, domain name services, virtual hosting infrastructure, etc.
- Penetration testing with red team and blue team.
