Jr Graphic Designer (Multimedia Designer)

Jr Graphic Designer (Multimedia Designer) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's Entertainment client located in New York City.

Job Details

Title : Junior Multimedia Designer (Maternity leave coverage)

Duration : Approx 5 months

Location : New York City, 10010

Schedule : Monday-Thursday in office. WFH Fridays

Pay Rate : $22-24 per hour.

Required : A portfolio must be submitted along with resume. Work that includes video, animation, and general graphic design.

Job Description

Looking for a Junior Multimedia Designer that is passionate about design and eager to create unique and engaging digital experiences.
Collaborate with a team of Designers on a wide range of design projects including asset / content creation for social media, banner ads, lyric videos, AR filters, and landing pages.
Create meaningful solutions that engage and resonate with artists' fans.

About You

You love design and stay up to date with the latest trends and technology.

You’re a collaborative team player but can also work independently.

Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects (Web flow and C4D / Blender knowledge a plus).

Details are your strong suit and you’re super organized.

Enthusiastic and interested in designing for the music industry.

You’re a versatile designer, able to effectively design for music fans across genres, from heavy metal to indie rock to Latin trap.

Branding & Identity is in your skill set and you understand how to elevate an existing brand while adhering to existing brand guidelines.

You have a strong knowledge of Google Slides and / or Canva and understand how to creatively illustrate a brand through a presentation deck.

Requirements

Strong portfolio of visual design and motion graphics for the digital space.

A detail-oriented approach to workflow.

Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Google Slides.

Highly motivated and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative and an enthusiastic team player.

Additional Notes :

Candidates must be enthusiastic, a team player, and willing to collaborate with other designers.

Skills Needed : Required, the video / motion design aspect.

After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop.
