Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including vital signs and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide care for patients undergoing procedures in the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Monitor patients’ conditions post-procedure, ensuring proper airway management and recovery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and health management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Assist in emergency situations, utilizing skills from prior experience in ER settings as needed.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or similar clinical environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing vital signs monitoring and airway management techniques.
- Familiarity with neonatal ventilators is a plus.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of clinical standards and best practices related to patient care.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
