The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Data Entry Clerk to work at a company located in the Miami Gardens area!
Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist with experience in the retail sector, specifically within department stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing purchase orders, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and knowledge of shipping processes and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Data Input : Accurately enter and manage data related to purchase orders, inventory, and shipping transactions into the company database.
- Purchase Order Management : Process and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in the system.
- Shipping Coordination : Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure orders are fulfilled and shipped correctly, utilizing EDI systems for efficient processing.
- Customer Service : Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to order status, shipping updates, and product availability.
- Documentation : Maintain and organize shipping documentation, including invoices, packing slips, and shipping labels.
- Reporting : Generate reports on order status, shipping metrics, and inventory levels using Microsoft Excel for analysis and decision-making.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement and logistics, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
