Position Overview :
The Business Analyst / Consultant IV will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Wisconsin's eWiSACWIS system. This position is responsible for analyzing business requirements, collaborating with vendors, and developing technical specifications. The analyst will work closely with state and county stakeholders to define system needs, manage testing, and ensure compliance with federal reporting requirements.
This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to document business processes, and a deep understanding of system development life cycles. The analyst will play a critical role in identifying system improvements, training end users, and supporting technical teams.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze and document business requirements for system enhancements
- Work with vendors and IT teams to design and implement new features
- Develop test plans, execute system testing, and track defects
- Provide technical support and training for eWiSACWIS users
- Document business processes and ensure system compliance with regulations
- Assist in project management tasks, including requirements validation and system evaluations
- Develop and maintain artifacts such as business requirements documents, traceability matrices, and test plans
