Job Description
Required Skill Sets for Control Engineer
1. Industrial Automation & Control Systems :
- Identification of machine controllers (Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Beckhoff, Rexroth) and options to select the protocols and compatible OT hardware (Network translator, Gateways, Aggregators, Extension cards) for integrating IIoT applications.
- Understanding of controls architecture and ISA- 95 architecture.
- Able to document the AS-IS Process and TO- BE for controls implementation.
- Strong skills in creating technical documentation, including system designs, integration plans, and user manuals for IIoT systems.
- Expertise in programming and configuring multiple control systems like Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal), Allen-Bradley PLCs, Mazak CNC controllers, and Fanuc controllers.
- Experience with integrations of machine controllers to IIOT systems and different levels of the automation stack
- Ability to manage IIoT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
- Knowledge of integration of tightening tools controllers like Atlas Copco, DC tools, Desouter etc. with IIoT platform.
- Knowledge of integration of Robots, Cobots, IMR’s and AGV with IIoT platform.

Looking with experience with IIoT communications protocols and standards. Data analytical platforms such as PowerBI, AI, ML are required. Interested in someone who can be on the shop floor, machine interfacing, and has experience connecting and installing machines. Project management experience is preferred as we can someone who can coach employees. All resumes must list these qualifications.
Academic Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in electrical / electronic engineering, control systems engineering, automation or instrumentation, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in industrial automation, IIoT systems, PLC programming, and IoT integrations.
