DESCRIPTION :
Leads moderately complex projects that generally have been assigned a medium to high corporate priority.
Provides subject matter expertise in areas including project management, manage client detailed contracts, project scope definition, risk identification, resource allocation, and facilitation.
Must have knowledge in construction principles, estimating and all associated trades.
VERY detail with change orders, develop and maintain project schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations or satisfaction at all times.
Presents to management or customers on project updates, project cycle, and expected results.
Will manage vendor relationships.
Ensures projects are closed on time and in scope.
Job Duties :
Understanding of Facility and Project Management Institute's (PMI) methodology and key knowledge areas Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk and Procurement Management.
Report to site management and help with Facility responsibilities if needed.
Understanding the contract terms and conditions, Customer expectations at a detailed level and taking ownership for outcomes.
Works closely with the Customer to ensure alignment with contract requirements and operational policies.
Project Management Skills :
will be responsible for managing construction activities to include reviewing of drawings and specifications, participating in design meetings, providing best practices, commissioning, construction site evaluations and inspections.
Responsible for communication and status reporting to project staff, customer and Clients management.
Responsible for work plan, managing project resources, duty assignment, responsibilities, scope of authority and provides technical advice and problem resolution to all aspects of project.
Responsible for tracking project expenditures and installation progress through reviews of status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules of plans as required.
Maintains full financial accountability to project requires ability to forecast financial trends across project, ability to understand internal Clients and external client cost structures and integrate or translate to from Clients accounting methodology using AIA standards.
Establishing process performance metrics tracking, analyzing, and reporting performance in terms of quality, safety, costs, and Customer Satisfaction.
Taking corrective actions to bring about required change.
Maintain full accountability to project quality conducting inspections of worksite, ensures workmanship meets Client's installation required quality standards and expectations.
Provide responsive, concise, and professional support to all customers and other personnel and ensures timely follow-up on all customer concerns and issues.
Education :
Bachelor's or associate Degree or equivalent work experience of at least five years
Experience :
5-7 years Facility or Project Management – facilities or new construction experience preferred.
Facility Management
Able to create cost estimate detailed documents to request funding from client
Report updates to stakeholders on weekly call
Very organized day to day is a must
