Working Days : Monday - Friday
Day Starts at : 8 : 00AM
Day Ends at : 6 : 00PM
DESCRIPTION :
0-3 Years of Experience,
Efficiently processes fresh cut orders, including cutting and packaging fresh vegetables and other food products
For next day delivery while following all safety rules.
Ensures processing room is clean and sanitized at the beginning of the shift
Processes freshly cut items and produce based on orders keyed into the system
Makes labels for product to be shipped
Packages items and prepares them for shipment
Ensures quality of product is acceptable and meets standards
Follows all safety rules and regulations
Follows any other requests or instructions given by the Manager or Supervisor.
Minimum requirements include the ability to read, write, and understand English
Basic arithmetic skills
A high school diploma or GED equivalent
The physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs., bend, squat, push, pull, stand in one place for a long period of time, and work in confined spaced
The ability to work with sharp instruments used for cutting.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of produce and previous experience in a processing facility.
Reports to the Value-Added Manager.
