Pay : $24.00 - 25.00
Hours : Monday-Friday
Responsibilities :
Support safety, environmental, productivity and cost improvement efforts throughout the facility.
Support the Quality Assurance Specialist and Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in maintaining the Hold
Ticket Log in SL-10.
Support the Quality Assurance Specialist and Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for the Control of Finishing
Specifications in SL-10.
Support 5S activities throughout the facility to improve safety and eliminate waste. Perform monthly safety
Management Accountability responsibilities (e.g. Area inspection checklists, safety talks, observations and
PJHAs)
Perform production testing as needed in the Dry Lab and Sat Lab to assist or substitute for the Lab Technicians
per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Maintain and follow the requirements stated in the Customer Grade Specific Requirements Database with
respect to Data Sheets / Certificates of Compliance and Customer Samples.
Perform daily tasks associated with media production, to include review of product data, lab sheets, production
logs, compiling customer data and maintain the Daily Packing Slip log for outgoing product.
Support the Quality Assurance Specialist in maintaining Dry Lab and Sat Lab operational supplies.
Active participation in continuous improvement efforts.
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines with internal and external resources.
Qualifications :
Associates Degree (AS) with an emphasis in Math / Science preferred and / or three to five years related
experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Enthusiasm and attention to detail!
Knowledge of papermaking processes and paper testing procedures or equivalent experience working in a
manufacturing environment is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel or ability to learn quickly.
Effective verbal & written communication skills and math skills.
Ability to plan and organize work to effectively perform assigned tasks in a timely manner.
