Position Overview
The Field Assurance Technician manages daily operations in the Complaint Handling Lab, including shipping, receiving, and reviewing complaint samples. The role requires familiarity with biosafety, cleanroom environments, and good laboratory practices.
Key Responsibilities
Document received complaint samples.
Handle shipping and receiving of sample return kits domestic and international.
Track and maintain shipping inventory and supplies.
Process image and video review requests and maintain records.
Follow Good Documentation Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Store and dispose of samples per procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere to regulatory and procedural requirements.
Escalate unexpected issues to the supervisor and manager.
Required Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with problem solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. buddy system.
Proof of Hep B series or willingness to sign a waiver.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with FedEx shipping systems.
Previous warehouse or lab experience.
Knowledge of medical industry regulations GMP.
Education and Experience
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Associate degree or relevant experience preferred.
Physical and Work Environment
Regular standing, walking, and handling of materials.
Occasional reaching, kneeling, or crouching.
Team oriented, fast paced work environment with open cubicles.
