Job Description :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and controlling the quality of products and services, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will work cross-functionally to address equipment and process-related production issues and contribute to the validation of equipment, processes, and materials.
As a Quality Engineer, you will play an integral role in identifying areas for improvement and applying best practices in quality engineering. This position will involve the application of statistical analysis, metrics, and basic knowledge of regulatory requirements to ensure products are validated and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Evaluate and control product and service quality through development and maintenance of quality systems.
Support equipment, process, materials, and method validation, ensuring product quality and compliance.
Perform statistical analysis and use metrics to assess and improve quality systems and processes.
Write test protocols, conduct tests, collect data, and prepare reports to validate against quality plans.
Support compliance with FDA, ISO, and cGMP standards in all aspects of the role.
Assist in resolving production issues, applying basic knowledge of quality engineering principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience in Quality Engineering, particularly in medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
Required Skills :
GMP experience in medical devices and / or pharmaceuticals.
Supplier Quality experience is a plus.
Basic understanding of FDA / ISO regulations and cGMP standards.
Familiarity with basic statistical sample size calculations and quality determination.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with supervision as needed.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Additional Information :
Interviews will be conducted in person with the hiring manager after completion of a prescreening interview if you meet the qualifications for the position.
