Type : Full-Time 7am - 4 : 30pm Monday - Friday
Job Description :
We are looking for a reliable and motivated General Laborer to join our team at a leading foam manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for hands-on work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment. As a General Laborer, you will assist in various tasks within our facility to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Production Support : Assist with the manufacturing and assembly of foam products by operating machines and equipment under supervision.
Material Handling : Load and unload materials and products, including foam sheets, raw materials, and finished goods.
Packaging : Prepare foam products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, packing, and quality control.
Machine Operation : Operate basic machinery (with training) to cut, shape, or mold foam materials.
Cleaning & Maintenance : Maintain cleanliness of work areas by sweeping, wiping down machines, and following safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Quality Control : Inspect foam products for defects or inconsistencies and report any issues to supervisors.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with production teams, supervisors, and other departments to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or labor-intensive role is a plus, but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift, bend, and reach frequently.
Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment with potential exposure to noise, dust, and various chemicals (appropriate safety gear will be provided).
