This role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and technical project expertise. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management Excellence
- Own and drive project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide detailed project reporting to leadership, key stakeholders, and project teams.
- Manage scope creep by proactively handling change requests and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Capture lessons learned throughout project life cycles to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Follow and enforce company-defined project management processes and best practices.
- Support proposal development with input from technical and financial teams, ensuring strategic alignment.
- Oversee supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring supplier performance meets project goals.
- Support PMO operations and help refine company-wide project management methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional teams (technical & project staff) to define project scope, tasks, and deliverables.
- Train, mentor, and develop project management staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Evaluate team performance, addressing resource constraints to ensure optimal functionality.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, or Business (Master’s preferred).
- 5-10 years of project/program management, project engineering, systems engineering, or product development experience.
- Strong project management framework, tools, and software experience.
- Experience with government and commercial aerospace customers (familiarity with launch vehicles & payloads preferred).
- Hands-on experience with CubeSats, Small Satellites, or space-based platforms/payloads.
- PMP certification required.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher required.
- Familiarity with biological or chemical processes, lab principles, and techniques is a plus.
