We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to jump in and help with an upcoming trial for a boutique Immigration Law Firm. If you are raring to go, please reach out to us right away!

The ideal candidate will have a background in immigration law and possess excellent organizational skills to support our attorneys in all aspects of litigation.
Duties
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation proceedings
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
- Manage case files and maintain documentation
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts
- Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry
Requirements
- Previous experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Knowledge of immigration law is highly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Must sign a confidentiality agreement and give us 48 hours notice of unavailability. Must be a team player and work within the scope of the work. Must report to the attorney and cc them with every email.
Detail oriented and willing to work under deadlines. We are easy to work with but expect the person to do what they say they are going to do because its the bar number that the attorneys have to protect.
Need to know multiple software programs including MS Word, Clio, Adobe, DropBox, Hightail, PowerPoint for trial, zoom. Will have attended multiple civil litigation and family law trials. Able to manage 1500 pages of documents, exhibits, trial briefs. Interface with courtroom personnel, experts, with professional demeanor.
