What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recorder/Escrow Officer position at JobTracks, Inc.?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Recording Officer to join our top client based in Midtown, NY. You will have experience handling real estate recording processes and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of recordable documents.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and file ACRIS and other transfer tax forms, including TP-584 and RP-521.
- Review, proofread, and verify recordable documents for compliance and accuracy.
- Process documents for recording in ACRIS, Westchester Prep, and ideally, CSC or an equivalent e-recording system.
- Organize and collate documents, exhibits, addendums, and signature pages.
- Track outstanding documents and follow up with the team and clients to ensure completion post-closing.
- Research and process escrow payments for taxes, water, ECB violations, and other related items.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly with teams and clients via phone and email.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Outlook and Adobe PDF.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Excel (preferred).
