Job Description
The HR Specialist will be responsible for executing and coordinating key human resources processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, applicable Puerto Rico labor laws, and company ethical standards. This position requires a people-oriented approach, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to support both management and employees.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage recruitment processes, from posting of vacancies to selection of candidates.
- Conduct initial interviews and assessments to ensure alignment with job requirements and company values.
- Develop strategies to attract local talent and optimize the candidate experience.
- Facilitate the integration of new employees through an effective orientation and onboarding process.
- Design and implement professional development plans and training to foster employee growth.
- Assist in succession planning and talent retention.
- Evaluate that company policies are in compliance with the Puerto Rico Labor Code and other applicable regulations.
- Handle labor relations cases, internal investigations, and conflict resolution in an objective and confidential manner.
- Support disciplinary processes by ensuring proper documentation.
- Coordinate employee benefit programs, such as health plans, leave, and other incentives.
- Respond to inquiries related to payroll, vacation accruals, and other aspects of the compensation package.
- Prepare reports on human resources metrics, including turnover rates, engagement levels, and recruiting effectiveness.
- Identify trends and propose data-driven initiatives to improve the employee experience.
- Participate in the design and execution of organizational initiatives such as diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
- Support activities related to corporate culture, wellness, and organizational events.
Requirements:
- Hybrid Position.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field in Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management functional areas such as payroll processing (ADP Run and Workforce), recruiting, and performance management, Compliance.
