We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a law firm environment , with prior litigation experience strongly preferred. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to litigation attorneys.
- Prepare and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and adherence to firm standards.
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court appearances.
- Handle electronic filings (e-filings) in federal and state courts.
- Conduct basic legal research and assist with discovery preparation.
- Create and maintain case files, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Assist with client billing, time entry, and expense reporting.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
