What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Billing / AR Specialist position at Jobvous Staffing Solutions, LLC?
Multi-physician, multi-location retina / ophthalmology PE group in Dallas,
- Need a minimum of three (3) years of experience in medical A / R follow-up
- Billing and coding certification preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
- Experience and ability to navigate practice EHR PM systems and RCM / data reporting tools (NextGen, NexTech, Tableau, Viewgol experience a plus)
- Strong physician billing experience (ophthalmology / retina, a plus)
- Strong understanding of commercial health insurance, federal and state coverage
- Strong organizational, customer service, interpersonal, facilitation, communication and time management skills
- Outstanding poise in a fast-paced business environment
- The 10% travel seems minimal remote employees may travel occasionally to the Southlake, Texas corporate office
- Responsible for resolution of outstanding A / R including correcting billing errors, refiling claims, appealing denials and payment posting for partner practices, etc.
