Warehouse Manager
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, supporting your team, and ensuring things run smoothly. You’ll provide leadership and guidance to Warehouse Supervisors and Associates, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Support Your Team: Manage and guide Warehouse Supervisors and Associates, providing expertise and support to ensure everything is running efficiently.
- Oversee Warehouse Operations: Take charge of all daily operations, from managing work schedules to keeping track of safety and regulatory compliance.
- Create a Safe Work Environment: Monitor safety policies, review accident reports, and make sure everyone is trained to safely use warehouse equipment.
- Manage Performance: Evaluate team performance, conduct reviews, and provide coaching to help everyone grow.
- Hiring and Training: Work with Human Resources to hire the best candidates, and ensure all warehouse staff receive the proper training.
- P&L Initiatives: Drive profit and loss initiatives to contribute to the overall success of the warehouse.
- Keep Things Tidy: Ensure the warehouse and grounds are clean and organized at all times.
- Handle Administrative Tasks: Conduct performance reviews and take part in disciplinary actions when necessary.

What You’ll Need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of Warehouse Management experience, or 10 years of warehouse management experience.
- Experience in a union environment and working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Ability to develop and manage KPIs to track performance and progress toward long-term goals.
- Food Safety experience is a plus, including creating and executing GMPs, allergen, and sanitation programs.
- A track record of using analytics to improve processes and drive action.
- Previous experience working in a team environment and a commitment to keeping the workplace safe and productive.
