Administrative Assistant Role
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to various departments. This role involves a diversified workload based on the needs and requirements of specific departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and maintaining management systems.
- Performing administrative duties such as copying, typing, and filing correspondences, letters, memos, etc.
- Designing, organizing, and maintaining specialized and custom forms, records, reports, and files, updating computer information as needed.
- Organizing, prioritizing, and responding to incoming correspondences, including faxes and emails.
- Working independently and in team settings on special non-recurring and ongoing projects.
- Carrying out other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience.
- Basic computer understanding (MS Office & PC skills).
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects.
- Communication skills across all levels of coworkers, clients, and other external contacts.
- Ability to learn company-specific applications.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with multiple, sometimes changing priorities.
- Ability to work on site 5 days a week and travel to another location 1 day a week.
