Administrative Assistant
The role of the Administrative Assistant is multifaceted, providing administrative and secretarial support across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and maintaining management systems.
- Performing administrative tasks such as copying, typing, and filing correspondences, letters, memos, etc.
- Designing, organizing, and maintaining specialized and custom forms, records, reports, and files, updating computer information as needed.
- Organizing, prioritizing, and responding to incoming correspondences, including faxes and email.
- Working independently and in team settings on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
- Carrying out other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience
- Basic computer understanding (MS Office & PC skills)
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects
- Communication skills across all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts
- Ability to learn company-specific applications
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with multiple, sometimes changing priorities
- Ability to work on site 5 days a week and travel to San Antonio 1 day a week
