Administrative Assistant Role

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to various departments. This role involves a diversified workload based on the needs and requirements of specific departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and maintaining management systems.
  • Performing administrative duties such as copying, typing, and filing correspondences, letters, memos, etc.
  • Designing, organizing, and maintaining specialized and custom forms, records, reports, and files, updating computer information as needed.
  • Organizing, prioritizing, and responding to incoming correspondences, including faxes and emails.
  • Working independently and in team settings on special non-recurring and ongoing projects.
  • Carrying out other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience.
  • Basic computer understanding (MS Office & PC skills).
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects.
  • Communication skills across all levels of coworkers, clients, and other external contacts.
  • Ability to learn company-specific applications.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with multiple, sometimes changing priorities.
  • Ability to work on site 5 days a week and travel to another location 1 day a week.
