We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory control, and logistics management. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain systems and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Utilize Sage 100 to track inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding inventory control and demand forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to procure materials needed for while ensuring timely delivery.
- Implement MRP (Material Requirements Planning) strategies to optimize production schedules and minimize waste.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure quality standards are met.
- Apply methodologies to identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain.
- Prepare reports on supply chain performance metrics and present findings to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics is preferred.
- Proficiency in Sage 100 or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with Excel for data visualization.
- Familiarity with MRP systems and inventory control practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
