Key Responsibilities:

• Specialize in a specific area of vehicle repair, including transmissions, brakes, air conditioning, radiators, or other components.
• Diagnose mechanical problems through visual inspections and computer diagnostic tools.
• Perform tests on vehicle components and systems to ensure proper mechanical function.
• Execute necessary repairs, replacements, or maintenance services.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts such as brake pads, rotors, transmissions, and radiators.
• Conduct test drives and additional evaluations to confirm repairs.
• Handle other related duties as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair and specialized areas of automotive technology.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues accurately.
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic equipment and repair software.
• Ability to interpret service manuals and work orders.
• Efficiency in completing repairs promptly.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE or brand-specific certification is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work safely in a busy environment with exposure to various odors.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
• Good vision to inspect vehicle components accurately.
• Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat as required for vehicle repairs.
• Competency in safely operating motor vehicles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
