Job Title: Private Piano Teacher
Description:
We are seeking a qualified private piano teacher to join our team at the Joe Ferrante Music Academy in Old Town Monrovia. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching music and a proven track record of success with students of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Teach private piano lessons to students of various skill levels, from beginning to late intermediate
- Encourage and prepare students to perform in recitals
- Conduct simple musical tests and provide practice incentives
- Complete STEP Reports and enroll students in recitals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Music Education or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching private music lessons
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to teach on Wednesdays (1-8pm), Fridays (1-8pm), and Sundays (12-6:30pm)
