Title Clerk

Description of the role:

Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet Inc, a leading automotive dealership in Waterford Twp, Michigan, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Title Clerk. As a Title Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling all title transactions within the dealership, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Process title documents and ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and submit paperwork for vehicle registrations, including processing lien releases
• Communicate with customers, lenders, and state agencies to resolve any title-related issues
• Maintain proper record keeping and documentation for all title transactions
• Stay up to date with state and federal regulations pertaining to vehicle titles

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Title Clerk or in a related role within the automotive dealership industry
• Strong knowledge of state title regulations and requirements
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in relevant software applications and computer systems
