Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and be comfortable handling transactions at the point of sale.
Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and provide a positive dining experience. Answer customer questions about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
Order Processing: Take and process customer orders accurately, including phone orders and walk-ins. Ensure all orders are entered into the POS system correctly.
Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy, and provide change as needed. Maintain a balanced cash drawer throughout the shift.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the cleanliness of the cash register area and surrounding workspace.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Basic math skills.
Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
