Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and pizza cutters safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredient levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Handle cash register operations and process customer orders accurately using the POS system.
- Support bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean dining area for guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook in the food industry, preferably with pizza or similar culinary experience.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
