Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning.
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes and utensils to maintain a tidy dining environment.
- Support food preparation by cleaning vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
- A background in hospitality or culinary arts can be beneficial for understanding the workflow in the kitchen.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
