General Summary
The Estimator is responsible for the initial contact with the customer, adjusters and homeowners to successfully sell our services to the customer for mold, fire or biohazard clean-up. This position ensures that projects are completed in a timely manner, on budget and to the highest quality standards bringing the properties to their pre-disaster condition.
Primary / Key Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful completion of various restoration projects that are caused by fire, smoke, wind, water and mold.
- Manage assigned employees ensuring tasks are being completed effectively and efficiently.
- Perform Site inspections.
- Inspect job site to determine the extent of the damages.
- Estimate the cost of completing the job.
- Obtain approvals from customers and obtain signed contacts to schedule and commence work.
- Successfully sell our services to the customer for mold, fire or biohazard clean-up.
- Communicate with home & business owners, insurance adjusters and sub-contractors.
- Any and all other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Education and/or Experience and Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Experience: One to three (1-3) years of experience and/or training in project management.
Valid Driver's License
Certification: Mold Certificate, AMRT & WTR and Lead Certificate.
