Overview
Reports to: Vice President, Central Texas
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt
Normal Working Hours – Field or Office: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, plus additional hours as required for completing project duties
Position Objective: Oversee and manage project budgets, schedule, and administration of commercial projects. Maintain, foster, and develop relationships with Owners, Architects, Subcontractors, and Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and Build Relationships with Project Teams/Client/Architect/Design Team/End User/Trde Partners
- Build, lead and manage special projects (< $15M) from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Collaborate with various departments (Clinent Development, Preconstruction, Estimating, Operations, Close-out and Warranty) to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines
- Set quarterly and annual goals/metrics to meet the objectives of the organization with the Vice President
- Advise the Vice President on team requirements (Staffing and Resources) to meet the goals and objectives of the organization
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field• 10 years of relevant experience in commercial construction• CPR/AED/First Aid and Defensive Driving certifications preferred
