We are looking for a Retail Store Assistant Manager to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers with enthusiasm, answering customer inquiries and questions, providing product information to customers, helping customers make selections, utilizing our social media platforms for posting of new products and events in store, processing payments through POS systems, fulfilling online orders, assist in preparing, replenishing and restocking product for the sales floor, assist in maintaining a clean and neat working environment.
The ideal candidate will be very dependable and positive, have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for retail sales and customer service and an eye for detail. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fun and friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide assistance with product selection to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
- Assist customers with product returns and exchanges.
- Provide customer service support by answering questions or inquiries.
- Ensure that all products are properly replenished and stocked on the sales floor.
- Operate POS systems and process transactions.
- Support in the maintenance of a neat and tidy sales floor to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Be aware of fashion trends and seek information about all new arrivals, including product knowledge about fit, color, fashion etc. to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers
- Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits for customers and suggest items to match their needs when necessary.
- Maximize individual performance by participating in learning opportunities, accepting direction, coaching and feedback.
- Social Media management
Who You Are:
- Passionate for customer service and fashion
- Demonstrates excellent verbal communication skills and a high level of integrity.
- Possess the technological competency to navigate a computer/iPad/POS system.
- Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
- A multi-tasker who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Highly Motivated and Dependable, positive, creative, and willing to learn on the job!
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times!
- A team player with a flexible approach.
- You have the ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, etc.) for a short distance.
- Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including evening hours until 6:00 p.m. and other shifts as needed from time to time.
