Job Description:
As a Speaker Coordinator / Talent Booker, you will be responsible for researching, reaching out to, and securing keynote speakers and panelists for JOGS International Exhibits. You will oversee the full process from speaker selection and contract negotiations to event-day coordination, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for both speakers and attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit high-profile speakers, industry leaders, and trendsetters within the jewelry, gemstone, and luxury goods industries.
- Build and maintain relationships with speakers, agents, and key stakeholders.
- Manage outreach, negotiations, and contracts with potential speakers.
- Coordinate speaker logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and technical requirements.
- Work closely with event organizers to align speakers with event themes and audience expectations.
- Handle all speaker communications, from initial outreach to post-event follow-ups.
- Stay updated on industry trends and identify emerging voices and topics of interest.
- Maintain a detailed database of speakers, contacts, and past engagements.
Requirements:
- Experience in speaker recruitment, talent booking, or event coordination, preferably in the trade show or jewelry industry.
- Strong network of industry experts, business leaders, and professional speakers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of market trends in the jewelry and gemstone industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM software and event management tools is preferred.
