Job Description
This part-time Customer Service Representative position is a perfect opportunity for a retired insurance professional or someone with past insurance agency experience who is wants to get back into the insurance industry part time. It is also good for someone with no experience who understands it will then be in a base paying position with the opportunity to learn , grow and advance. It will involve providing customer service to agency customers, assisting other staff and other additional clerical duties and insurance customer service duties as directed by the agent or associates. The position prefers the applicant to have an active 220,440 or 2044 insurance license and prior insurance experience or someone is ok with a base position. Please upload your resume.
Base salary of $16,000 to $38,000 based on experience. With opportunity to easily earn commission and bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Document each customer contact in agency management software.
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
- Return all phone and email messages promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of new products.
- Look for cross sell opportunities of existing clients and follow procedures to retain clients.
Requirements
- Prefers someone that has an active 220 , 440 or 2044 license or someone looking for a base pay position with an opportunity to advance.
- Prior insurance experience preferred or someone willing to start with a base pay to learn and work there way up.
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Great Customer Service Skills.
- Able to learn and adapt quickly to the ever changing rules of the insurance industry.
- Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
- Capable of solving problems quickly and correctly
