Position Summary
The File Clerk will provide essential support by organizing, maintaining, and retrieving files and documents during a busy operational period. This role is crucial in ensuring that records are accurate and accessible, contributing to the smooth functioning of our office.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
- File documents such as correspondence, records, and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Retrieve files and documentation as requested by staff and management.
- Assist with scanning, photocopying, and digitizing paper files for electronic storage.
- Perform routine audits of files to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Prepare documents for archiving or disposal following company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline and optimize filing systems.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Support other administrative tasks as needed during the temporary assignment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
