Pay Range: $20-$23 per hour commission

Responsibilities:
- Perform Energy Audits per NYSERDA standards.
- Identify any health and safety issues related to planned weatherization projects.
- Collect and analyze field data related to energy use.
- Verify income eligibility of participants in publicly financed projects.
- Identify and prioritize energy saving measures.
- Recommend energy efficient technologies or alternate energy sources.
- Perform Combustion Appliance Zonal testing and Blower door tests for air leakage.
- Prepare audit reports containing energy analysis results or recommendations for energy cost savings.
- Educate customers on energy efficiency and answer questions on topics such as the costs of running household appliances or the selection of energy efficient appliances.
- Installation of energy saving measures such as LED light bulbs, advanced power strips, low flow shower heads, thermostats, smoke/CO detectors.
- Inspect newly installed energy-efficient equipment to ensure that it was installed properly, safely and is performing according to specifications
Requirements:
- Must be BPI Certified
- Experience working with NYSERDA
- 1 years related work experience
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and show good organizational skills.
- Good time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Understanding of building science principles and basic types of home construction.
- Experience with energy modeling software
- Ability to identify and resolve complex, interrelated residential building performance issues.
