Return Materials Specialist

John Boos & Co. , a trusted provider of high-quality, performance driven equipment and workspaces that have inspired home cooks, chefs and foodservice industry workers for generations, is accepting applications for a full-time RMA Specialist for our warehouse.

Summary

A Return Materials Specialist is a professional responsible for managing all company returns, from receipt to final disposition, and identifying that product's location within the warehouse.

Duties & Responsibilities

PROCESSING RETURNS & REFUNDS:

• Acts as the gatekeeper to record and report all materials being returned for any reason.
• Works with freight carriers returning product to ensure accurate recording of condition and reasons for return.
• Handles accurate and timely returns, maintaining detailed records and ensuring picture evidence of product.
• Works closely with the Accounting team, to ensure proper recording of customer accounts.
• Works closely with the Customer Care team on credits from vendors and resolves discrepancies.
• Follows regulations and guidelines and ensures efficient processing of returns.

CUSTOMER INTERACTION:

• Coordinates with Customer Service team regarding customer inquiries, complaints, and condition of product.
• Reviews policies to ensure adequate information and coverage for insured properties or individuals.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:

• Responsible for organizing and maintaining warehouse return inventory.
• Handles disposition and movement of RMA product.
• Makes managerial decisions related to customers' returned products.
• Provides Accounting with month-end reports of accurate returned product.

Education & Training

• High School Diploma Required
• Previous Experience as Receiving Clerk or Similar Role is Preferred
