Duties
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or events requiring additional cleaning services.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, supply usage, and maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hospitality or hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods.
