Daily, monthly, and yearly bookkeeping, payroll and tax preparation utilizing QuickBooks, Lacerte and After the Fact software for a variety of owner-operated business. Frequent client contact via email and voice with hands on involvement in client planning, cash management, client vendor management, employee payroll tax records, tax preparation, insurance audits and processing. Daily involvement with clients and tax agencies for online filings, payments, client bookkeeping and payroll accuracy and delivering payroll to clients.
Bookkeeping responsibilities include but not limited to data input, account reconciliation and analysis, journalizing payroll, credit card review, journal input, copying client data, managing accounts payable, paying client vendors, report generation and property and equipment accounting.
Payroll responsibilities include but not limited to review of payroll hours, input of payroll data, employee record management, online and manual weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual filing preparation and processing, managing payroll deposits, ordering payroll related supplies, updating payroll software, coordinating and completing workers compensation audits, accessing outside payroll providers for data and delivering payroll documents.
Tax preparation responsibilities include but not limited to individual and business income tax preparation and processing, copying client data and processing tax organizers for individual clients. Daily client data management and tracking. Ordering tax preparation supplies. Client interface for data follow-up. Online business form preparation and filing. Personal property tax return processing.
Salary : $30,000 - $45,000
