Responsibilities and Duties: :
Our team is currently seeking a skilled bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day finances of the Company. The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining Company accounting records using QuickBooks, invoicing of customers, payment of vendors, processing payrolls through ADP, preparing monthly financial statements and other recordkeeping functions. You will report directly to the Company President and will interface with all levels of management and staff personnel. The ideal candidate must be willing and able to work as part of a team. Discretion and unquestionable integrity, along with flexibility is also a must.
Qualification and Skills:
- Experience with accounting functions, preferably in the professional services environment
- Prepare and record journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Accounting Degree or Similar Training
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting system, Microsoft Excel and Word
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with dealing with outside accounting firms and IT consultants.
