Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and related components.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of parts.
- Help diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Clean and organize the workshop and tools.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Assist in the ordering and inventory management of parts and supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior mechanics and supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
- Previous GM experience or training preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
- Valid driver’s license.
